Privacy policy

2. What data we collect

  • Placement test: name (optional), email address, test result, newsletter consent
  • Contact forms: name, email, message, selected service
  • Shop orders: name, email, delivery address (physical products only), payment details (handled by the payment provider; we do not store them)
  • Cookies: we use only the strictly necessary ones required for the site to work — language selection, the shopping basket and the technical operation of the server. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, so no consent is required. Details are in the cookie policy.

3. Why we use your data (legal basis)

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — processing orders, delivery, invoicing
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — newsletter, marketing communication
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — improving our services, analytics

4. How long we keep your data

Order and invoice records are kept for ten years, as required by tax law. Placement test data is kept until consent is withdrawn or after twenty-four months of inactivity. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with providers necessary to run the service: our hosting provider Domenca d.o.o., our payment provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., our accounting service, and our email provider Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cigaletova ulica 15, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (company no. 5014018000), which delivers email via the mail.siol.net mail server. Where a processor transfers data outside the European Economic Area, this is done under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We do not sell data to third parties.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, contact us at avec@siol.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
